Mind Matters

Your mind is like a garden. It will return what is planted in it! Your mind will influence your words, your attitudes, and yes, even your business growth. Our mind matters will influence our perspectives, purpose and passion. If you've found yourself going backwards, you can easily replace your old thinking with new thinking. You are a powerful person, and you can begin today!

“You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.” ~ Marcus Aurelius.

Five Keys on Mind Matters

1). Challenge Your Thoughts

Are your thoughts leading you towards your purpose? Do you find yourself being critical, harsh, or impatient with your speaking? Like a computer, the mind will return what is downloaded. The power of an ecosystem: It’s amazing how different regions of the world speak with different accents and dialects, and when you are immersed in them, you will pick it up easily.

Are your thoughts constantly playing what the critic says about you? How can you be strategic to protect the attitudes of your mind? How can you pour your time and energy into growth activities? If a person knew thriving thinking would transform their life, how do you think they would feed and protect their mind?

“Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

2). Replace the Toxicity

Listening to constant gossip or negativity etches away at your personal capacity to fulfill your personal or business promise. Consider taking inventory of your conversations and environment and ask how you could model a thriving perspective. What do most people do with their actual trash daily? They take it out.

3). Listen Before Speaking

You can tell the direction of a person's life and business by the words they are currently speaking. Sometimes the best thing to say is thanks for sharing. Consider giving up your right to be right for the sake of protecting the relationship. Listening could look like, wow, that’s a great point, I would love to hear more…

“Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply.” ~Stephen Covey

4). Routine to Rest

Stress can build without a healthy rhythm of rest! Self talk will be
revealed in those response moments. How could you place priorities in your schedule to rest, play, have fun! People create much more in an ecosystem of joy and laughter.

"Fatigue makes fools of us all. It robs us of our skills, our judgment, and blinds us to creative solutions.” ~ Harvey Mackay

5). Protect Your Energy

Avoid things that deplete your energy. What energizes you at work? What energizes you at home? How can you build a greenhouse to fuel, vitality, vigor, and victory in your ecosystem? Being around negativity and speaking negatively is like kryptonite to Superman. Take a look around at the rooms you’re constantly in and ask how you can declutter and create a space that’s uplifting!

“How we think not only affects our own spirit, soul, and body but also people around us.” ~ Dr. Caroline Leaf

1. Are you having fun? "People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.” ~ Dale Carnegie

2. What habits can fuel thinking big? “Believe big. The size of your success is determined by the size of your belief. Think of little goals and expect little achievements.” ~ David Schwartz

Take action! Your purpose and destiny is at stake. Consider applying one of these keys each day and take notice what happens. You're an extraordinary person, and you were born for greatness!
