Visualize & Vocalize Your Vision

We will briefly explore two major keys to foster a thriving vision! They will fuel growth within your business and life! Do you feel like you’re spinning your wheels? Does it seem like your circling the same mountain again? Maybe you’re frustrated, uncertain or sitting stagnate?

“If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.”  ~ Steve Jobs

Visualize Your Vision

We know the importance of keeping our eyes on the road while driving. My grandfather was a professional truck driver for 38 years. He said something simple but profound: “The most important thing while driving is keeping your eyes on the road. The truck will go where our eyes are focused.” Take this same principle, and apply it to your business and life vision. What daily steps of action could you take to visualize your vision this month? Do you have a vision board or a photo album in your phone with the vision?

“Leaders are limited by their vision rather than by their abilities.”  ~ Roy Bennett

1). Where is your vision taking you?

2). What captivates your focus: the challenges or the possibilities?

3). What habit could support seeing your vision daily?

4). Eliminate any clutter that blurs your vision. A clear windshield is less exhausting.

Vocalize Your Vision

Our words will form a world around us. You can tell where a person is going by their conversations. Consider looking at your vision, goals and dreams, and then begin to vocalize them. Create the future with your empowering and life-giving words, describing what that vision will look like! Share your vision with your family, friends, colleagues and teammates. Ask yourself, when you speak about your vision, what rises up within your heart? Does excitement, confidence, courage, ideas, and passion rise up? Or do negative emotions rise to the surface, like shame, guilt, rejection, doubt or timidity? Do you notice that the more you vocalize your vision, the more it feeds your heart?

“You can change the course of your life with your words.”  ~ Unknown

“Words are containers for power, you choose what kind of power they carry.”  ~ Joyce Meyer

Be Intentional

My encouragement is that you take action over the next thirty days by visualizing and vocalizing your vision! Journal what you’re noticing within your heart and about the beliefs around your vision. Visualizing and vocalizing your vision should feed you, your heart and your team! A thriving vision will stir up more passion and feed your vision. If not, consider going deeper, exploring a fresh vision that feeds your fire, breathes life on your desires and expands your inspire!

“One kind word can change someones entire day.”  ~ Unknown

1). Practice being intentional, speaking life-giving words in the direction you desire to go!

2). Visualize and then vocalize your vision with positive, life-giving words!

3). Invite your team to also speak into the business vision.

4). Does your team know the vision so they can vocalize it?

“Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.” Warren Bennis
